Nursing Home Ministry

Life can be full of excitement, especially as it is shared with friends and family. As people get older, many times they are left with little or no family or friends to care for them, forcing them into a nursing home. Living in an environment with no family or friends can be discouraging, especially to the elderly. Those involved in the nursing home ministry seek to encourage nursing home residents through God's word, fellowship, prayer, and singing. The nursing home ministry meets at Geisinger-Bloomsburg Health Care Center on the 4th Sunday of each month at 2:30 p.m.
"I will say to the LORD, 'My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust," Psalm 91:2.
Prison Ministry

Oftentimes, prisoners have little hope of a better life after prison. Society makes life difficult for those with criminal convictions. The prison ministry is a fantastic way to reach these people who have a criminal past and a bleak future, and give them the hope that Jesus Christ offers. The prison ministry meets at the Columbia County Prison on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
Jesus said, "I came that they may have life and have it abundantly,"
John 10:10.
